"Yes. So he won't be around when you get there," she replies with a light snort. For now, anyway. If the asshole apologized and made a good case for himself, he might get in her good graces.
He takes another sip of coffee. There is some temptation to ask more, but he also realizes that he doesn't really want to know. If she chooses to talk about it, he'll listen, but he's not going to seek any clarification on his own.
"You can both be total assholes, you know that?" she grumbles and shifts a little in her seat towards the middle of the couch. She's not going to spill every detail like some gushing child, but if anyone could understand the special brand of asshole that is part of the Church family, it would be the supposed 'head' of it.
"How do you live with yourself?" she teases lightly. Her coffee is gone and she sets it on the coffee table. The warmth is helping to relax her and allow her to come down from alcohol she had partaken of before coming over. Everything is hitting her hard.
