[She has little experience with the Callsigns as of yet and this new one responsible for AI research, Charlie, is on her radar now.]

Dr.Suh, she's been assigned to oversee my work and help me with the set up.
[He's still trying to figure out if he likes her but doesn't trust her or if he just flat out doesn't trust her. It's been a long time since he had someone he could talk science with that wasn't the Counselor.]

I have a temporary arrangement, until they can find me new quarters.

[She never was one to drop topics easily. They must have him somewhere, he doesn't have any of his belongings with him right now and she doubts he left them at home.]

I won't know for certain where I'm staying until later tonight. With any luck I'll have my own place in a few more hours.

[That attitude might have deterred others in the Project when dealing with him, but she's far used to it to be put off.]

I doubt that I'd be welcome... but thank you for the offer and I'll let you know when I have my living arrangements sorted out. [picking idly at the salad as he talks.]

[He continues to pick at the salad until he finds a piece of chicken that doesn't seem too offensive. At least this way he can perhaps avoid being nagged about his eating habits as well as his living arrangements.]

Are you going to remember to eat at this new place of yours? Besides those crappy bars and granola or whatever you had in the cabinets.

Are you going to track me down so you can inspect my pantry? [Those were nutritionally complete, if not particularly palatable. He doesn't have time to cook fancy meals. lies]

I might unless you plan on actually cooking for yourself. You don't need to eat crap all the time. [She's well aware that he ate the leftovers in the fridge, so why he's fighting it, she doesn't know.]

[He ate them... cold, but he ate them. It's not the food or even the cooking, he'd done plenty of that while Carolina was younger, it was... hard to explain. He just wasn't hungry most of the time and when he was, he just didn't want to be bothered.]

You needn't concern yourself. [He takes another bite of salad. See, he's eating god damn 'real food' so stop nagging him about it.]

You know that's not going to stop me. [She's keeping an eye on him while she eats. At least half a salad can't be that hard to eat.]

Good for you. [She's stubborn and matches the look he's giving her for a moment before continuing.] I'm going to talk to York tomorrow, after he's had a chance to cool off.

[Not that he encourages you to shoot the bastard if he so much as looks at you funny... but he would totally encourage it, if he thought he could get away with it.]
